Christmas at Home explained:
A Community comes together to deliver the spirit of Christmas!
Christmas at Home got its start in 2005 when Chris Janusitis of Rogers TV approached Dan Clancy to present a local holiday special featuring Dan performing traditional Christmas music in the Rogers TV Studio for broadcasting.
It was well received by viewers which led to a repeat performance the following year from Parkwood Estate;
this time joined by local barbershop quartet, Cruisin', in support of local and global charities.
The idea continued to grow and in January of 2009, Mike Hill was approached to assist Dan and Chris in developing a "live" performance featuring local talent along with some of Canada's most gifted performers to create the grandest version to date to be taped on location at the Oshawa Little Theatre.
The all-star line-up of talent came together in support of The Abilities Centre and brought forth a magical evening that created lasting memories for all who attended.
